Hi sifu, I need advice either to use All-in-one or separately modem+router+wireless.
If all-in-one, which brand/model is better?
If separately, which router+wireless is good performance?

ISP: Streamyx
Connection plan to use: Wireless G and LAN.
Running time: 24/7

hi guys..for office/lab used which good and the best model or brand u all can suggest..

wireless + router, user around 20 person used their laptop for wireless..

im using aztech 605ew...hampeh, using it less than a month,24/7 torrent + direct dload...died...
rite now dunno wat modem+router good to use...or need to get d separate one..haih

Heavy torrent usage is definitely going to kill most routers even faster due to the load you put on the router. When you torrent, the software is establishing a lot of connections and your router has to be processing all of it fast enough or else you'll experience slow speeds or your router might just hang. If you notice, when you torrent, your router tends to get hotter than normal. smile.gif

i have been using LEVEL 1 WBR2400-TX wireless router for 7 years now (no joke). this router has no QOS settings or whatever new features. i bought it for around RM700 during 2003.
lately its starting to act up. i guess its time to let the old router retire.
i leave my router almost 24/7 on and have more than one computer connected to the wireless router, i torrent and direct download alot.
could you all please recommend a wireless router?
extra features would be a plus too.

I been using the riger modem for couple of years now, always had the same question. Im using the riger modem + wireless router,
I wonder if I use a better brand modem will it give me more stable connection ?
What modem will u guys suggest ?
