hye guys.. i've been experiencing with this problem for quite some time already. now sick enuff to have it..

my mozilla, for some reason, when i reach certain websites or links, will 'hang' as the processor speed increase dramatically to 100%.

when i open the task manager, it seems the csrss.exe is taking most of the CPU usage.

i have scanned for spywares and stuff, clean everything, same thing happens.

pls help.

You guys should try NoScript Add-Ons. It blocks out every scripts that are running behind any websites and it only allows the scripts to run if you allow it to do so. By this, Firefox is much secure!

I've applied one of the Firefox Add-On known as FasterFox and i can feel it runs slightly faster.

Justnow tried some new tricks i found on the Firefox 2.003 (already tweaked by FasterFox) & I can instantly feel the page loading has improved further, the page loads faster when i click 'BACK'

Here it is:

FasterFox has added these 3 string and value for me:
network.http.pipelining \true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequest \8
network.http.proxy.pipelining \true

You may need to add NEW STRING and input the VALUE for these:
network.dns.disableIPv6 \true
content.interrupt.parsing \true
content.max.tokenizing.time \2250000
content.notify.interval \750000
content.notify.ontimer \true
content.notify.backoffcount \5
content.switch.threshold \750000
nglayout.initialpaint.delay \0

Enjoy faster Firefox!
