nope. dun have.. u can check the Star News paper for the programes tou... i couldn't find the link sorry ><
anyway, there is alot of counselors there, so it would be quite useful for u to attend the education fair =)

actually i heard this from my friend too. he's going to represent LUCT for ID and architecture courses, so if any of u r interested, go find RAMESH. he's the chewbacca look a like, u cant miss him!

but as i checked through, the event is not listed in PWTC's schedule...

yeapp.. so far i think there's no event in pwtc this weekend
if u can't wait till march why dun go the colleges and ask for counselling first?
then when march is here and u go education fair, u'll be much more enlightened bout what u wanna do =)

"Program sedemikian memupuk kerjasama serantau antara agensi jaminan kualiti dalam merangka pelan tindakan mengenai visi jaminan kualiti program pengajian tinggi," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian pada sidang media Seminar Peluang Pendidikan Tinggi di Malaysia, Persidangan Rangkaian Kualiti Asia Pasifik (APQN) 2007 dan Pameran Pendidikan Tinggi Persatuan Universiti dan Kolej Swasta Malaysia (Macpu)-LAN 2007 di Petaling Jaya, semalam.

Ketiga-tiga program berkenaan adalah inisiatif LAN, Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi dan Macpu akan berlangsung selama lima hari bermula 3 Februari ini.

Perasmian seminar itu akan disempurnakan Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, Datuk Mustapa Mohamed di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra, pada 4 Februari ini.

Program seminar menurut Mohamed Salleh, akan disertai kira-kira 50 pegawai dari negara yang menghantar pelajar mereka belajar di institusi pengajian tinggi di Malaysia.

Beliau berkata, atase pendidikan daripada pelbagai negara yang bertugas di sini turut dijemput.

Katanya, seminar bertujuan mendedahkan peserta mengenai peluang pengajian tinggi di negara ini sama ada institusi pengajian tinggi awam (IPTA) mahupun swasta (IPTS).

Beberapa tokoh akademik akan membentang kertas kerja masing-masing, antaranya Naib Canselor Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof Datuk Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, Pengerusi Eksekutif Kolej Universiti Antarabangsa Inti, Tan Yew Sing dan Ketua Pengarah Maldives Accreditation Board, Dr Ahmed Anwar.

Sementara itu, persidangan APQN bertema "Emerging Challenges, Emerging Practices: Sharing a Global Vision of Quality Assurance in Higher Education" berlangsung selama tiga hari bermula 5 Februari ini.

Mohamed Salleh berkata, persidangan yang akan disertai 300 peserta, bertujuan mengutarakan cabaran dan isu semasa mengenai jaminan kualiti pengajian tinggi, berkongsi amalan bijak untuk diguna pakai pada peringkat antarabangsa.

Katanya, perbincangan itu nanti akan merangka pelan tindakan mengenai visi serantau jaminan kualiti dalam pengajian tinggi.

Beberapa tokoh akademik dalam bidang jaminan kualiti turut membentangkan kertas kerja masing-masing, antaranya Naib Canselor Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Prof Datuk Dr Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin, Presiden APQN, Peter PT Cheung dan Ketua Eksekutif New Zealand Qualitications Authority, Karen Potousi.

Bagi Pameran Pengajian Tinggi LAN-MAPCU 2007 pula, ia bermula pada 3 dan 4 Februari di Ruang Legar Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC). Pameran itu akan dijayakan 80 IPTA dan IPTS.
