most people buy the fridge magnet. I think u can get those paired korean costumes gal and boy.. 10 of them for 10 000 Won.. so each would be like rm 3.50

or else u can buy ginseng lo. ginseng there famous ma but u should be ready to pay la.

if u are following tours, the guide will usually ask u to buy so if u dun want to buy then insist that u dun want... coz they earn commission also.

other than that.. nothing much lor. handphone u cant buy coz they are using different type of HP which u cant operate by using sim card.

Hi there,

Im planning go to Seoul this year but not sure when.I just want to ask everyone who already go to Seoul.Im a backpack, so a place to stay is not a problem for me.

i know that Seoul is one of the most expensive country in the world ( Rank no 2 after Moscow and before Japan). So, what i, thinking now is, their food, and souvenier is expensive.Same like i went to Japan last year.
Question that i want to ask:-

1 - The food and souvenir is expesive?
2 - Is it difficult to find halal restaurant there?
3 - What is the place to visit in Seoul ( please dont recommend museum or park.Im not a museum man)
4 - Can people there speak English?
5 - What a budget for 5days 4 night?
6 - Whre to change the Seoul money?(i doubt if there any money changer here sell Seoul money)
7 - RM1 = 3++ won . For them, 300won is valuable or not?
8 - Since im a muslim, are they racist and hate Muslim?(some country like Europe and US ara so f***ing racist)

1 - Depend on what type of food your looking, but mostly are like our hotel charges.
Roadside food are reasonable. ( None halal )
2 - Yes, very difficult. You have to goto their tourist info website to look for halal food.
3 - Area around Don Dae Mun ( Don't know how to spell ) not bad for shopping. Consider cheap for korean.
4 - English ? No. 500 to 1 if you your lucky to stumble to one english speaking Korean. You better learn how to speak [COLOR=red]basic greeting,"hotel", "toilet", "how much", "thanks you"....
5 - Hard to tell what budget your asking.
6 - You can change at KLIA or Incheon airport (Must USD) if you arrived there.
7 - No. A pack of cigarette cost more than 3000 won.
8 - No. Korean are quite self center & friendly, as long you don't step on them. But you have to respect their
culture. Clean, quiet, polite.. etc
9 - Do not smoke when your walking around crowded place. Only smoke at designated area & or next to a cigarette
dumpster bin.
10-Make sure you bring a cellphone that can roam there. I think maxis only can.
11-Taxi & train fair are expensive.
12-Clubbing is incredible, but.... way way costly.
