I bought this modem 3 month ago, very dissapointed with its performance.

Once i open bt, then i no need to surf internet already.

The d-link support give me the firmware then i upgraded it, but fail, so my modem gone.

Sent it to repair, one month only claim back with the same problem.

The wireless signal is weaker than my aztech wireless modem.

May be i need to upgrade to latest formware. But i scared it will fail againt.

Actually their firmware upgrade quite easy, just try to refer their readme file or down their manual and read it will do.

i just bought this new adsl wireless router. i'm testing it now. i have read thru this thread and lots of u guys talking about upgrading to latest firmware. my current firmware is V1.00B02T02.MA.20050303. seriously, i never upgrade to latest firmware even when i was using my aztech. so far, within this 1 hour, my internet connection has disconnected once. so, do i need to upgrade the firmware?

1 more, my desktop still can't connect to the internet. it said limited or no connectivity . i have switched off the router few times but still no luck. however, my notebook is working well for both wired and wireless except my desktop. anyone can explain and give solution?

thanks!

Hello everybody...

proud owner of G604T here...
I just upgraded the new Malaysian firmware this morning with a major scare.. LoL

In the manual it says to turn off firewall, I did turn off the G604T's but forgot to turn off Windows Firewall... the upgrading went dead halfway and my router was dead.

Luckily there's option of "Corrupted Image mode" and amazingly my G604T is up and running! pheww~

Basically this new firmware give me faster response time, also I think there's quite a few addition of buttons particularly in Tools Section

Hi, I just got this router here as well. It looks as since the connection for the Basic Streamyx has a dialer, setting the router on Bridge mode is the best for it.

Okies, I've got my connection bridged to the dialler, however my sister wants to access the router as well via the wireless. I tried my best to allow her IP address to be unrestricted.

Yet even on wireless (and then on wired) even though her Wireless or LAN connection says connected, when she opens her Internet Browser nothing comes up.

Please LYN'ers, what would be solution? Thanks in advance.
