If you use dial up make sure your setting is on bridge mode.

If you use dial up yes you have to set to bridge mode on router but if auto dial you can set to PPPOE and enter your username/password.

No good...switching back to my old AU firmware...

The new Malaysian firmware still suffers from port timeouts from massive amounts of BT and it doesn't cure the DSL out of sync.

But your DHCP lease time trick work for the wireless thing i think....

Maybe you should try changing your router wireless channel to other channel. Wireless intermittent dc issue could because of too many wireless AP (channels) available in your housing area.

Hi guys,

How is your day?

I need some help from yours.  icon_question.gif
I just bought the D-Link DSL-G604T router modem, but i fial to dial up to streamyx. any one can give me the idea to solve this probelm?

I follow the installation guide to setup the router and try to dial up to streamyx with the dial up setting provide in the streamyx installa CD.

Even i munually setup the new dial up from WindowXP also not working.. Any idea?

One more thing, my laptop cant detect the wireless from the router..... any idea?

Router status light is blinking, ASDL light is steady, laptop connect with LAN cable is working. Direct conect the phone line to Wall Jack also cant dial up.

Always showing "Phone line busy"  ohmy.gif

thanks in advance notworthy.gif

Make sure you have microfilter on your phone lines. and maybe you can check the router's log to confirm the problem. this problem could be your account problem, and could be setup problem. Why not you print screen your router's WAN page (where you key in Streamy username and password) here ?

dam man after long hour of downloadin bt i could not enter any web page..n i restarted the modem the adsl n wan light din come out..aihz..i reseted the modem n everything back to normal..anyone can tell me y this happened?

I bought this modem 3 month ago, very dissapointed with its performance.

Once i open bt, then i no need to surf internet already.

The d-link support give me the firmware then i upgraded it, but fail, so my modem gone.

Sent it to repair, one month only claim back with the same problem.

The wireless signal is weaker than my aztech wireless modem.

May be i need to upgrade to latest formware. But i scared it will fail againt.
