utorrent is less resource-intensive than the other bt clients, imho smile.gif

I moved from bitcomet to utorrent months ago and since then sticking to it.

The only thing is that I thought the cache check mechanism takes longer time compared to the other clients. What'd be u guys opinion?

May try the newly build WebUI. I've tested, and it is great ! rclxms.gif
Check your torrent remotely from outside.

I didn't crash at all with this client. Your freezing may cause by explorer.exe ? have to check it out lah ....

have so many features there, and low memory usage, max 20mb. Bitcomet go to 100MB.

But remember, don't adjust net.max_halfopen over than 8. smile.gif

I faced some serious problem with Utorrent , and it seems when everytime i run the Utorrent , my WRT54G would be stucked and i would unable to surf the web , but the transfer speed on my Utorrent wont be affected at all.

This problem would be solved if only i restart back my wireless router.

In their FAQ , they already stated that Utorrent has some issues with WRT54G and suggested to flash the firmware to latest version but neither was working for me sad.gif

But i love Utorrent for its simplicity and less resources intensive.

I think BT throttled was affected in KL area, Johor was not affected.

im on µtorrent 1.6
but after the throttling i've been getting horrible speeds
even with many seeds n peers
dang

im like downloading stuff averaging like 3-4 kbps
heck some even 0.x [insert number]

i heard the client programmers working on bypassing the throttling
is it really possible?

I have to say... despite the very good download speeds u can from µTorrent, it does lack in features..

You see, like in Bitcomet, if you download something with a lot of episodes, so you only selected like say 2 files to download, then later u can download the rest bit by bit and its so easy, all you have to do is double click the torrent and select the files. The files that has already been downloaded when 'unselected' will just be deleted off just like that.

As for µTorrent, its very difficult to do that. Cos you need to select 'dont download' for that particular part then need to 'force re-check' and all... damn... sad.gif

Yeah. But it's not that hard you just select the file on 'files' tabs then choose normal download.

yeap... but the problem lies in deleting the already downloaded files.. of course, starting a new download is not difficult smile.gif
