hmm... i've been doing that also for ages i.e paying them once every 2 months but never give me any problem yet.. let see next time.. and btw.. i've downgrade my package as well right after they start to cap the bandwidth..

as for work_tgr comments about upgrading it back to RM88 again.. nah.. free upgrades means to 2mb but my lousy copper phone line doesn't support 2mb anyway i believe only those with fiber optic are able to reach 2mb... so no point doh.gif

Actually at this point "they" are violating the "terms and conditions" (I believe others are actually trying to gather enough info to persue legal actions). Furthermore, we are all protected to a various degree by the Consumers Rights Act (or something like that). I like all, feel cheated and abused. Boycotting StreamyHex (TMnut) payments I feel would be usefull if say 70% of the users did it at the same time. Essentially the effectiveness of any "boycott"/"strike" is in the number of folks whom join in (especially when it's a business; as with each user there is additional loss of funds wink.gif )....

That's my two cents. Boycott, sure why not. Give me the dates to stop payment; give me the location and time of the "March" (what good is a boycott if the "public" doesn't know/understand the why/what/how, etc; "Marching" generates publicity) Let's rock... Malaysia Boleh!!!...

Well, it's stupid to not do your research first and sign the contract to get streamyx then later only complain about it.

but anyway, I suggest you pay your bills. But there is still a legal way to scare them... kekek...

Delay your bills... Let's delay paying for 1 month. If everyone delay at the same time, I wonder what will happen... tongue.gif

maybe, but currently i do not have any plan to upgrade back. tmnut really piss me off big time, i dont want to spend extra one cent for their services. since rm66 basic package is the only minimum option i have, i live with that for now

i dont even sure whether what the customer service lady say was true, i go tmpoint ask and none of the staff there know anything about the so-called new policy. i cant even argue because tmnut got the f**king policy stated pay 'bill on time'.

tmnut would be bankcrupt if legal action really effective, they smart enough to be protected by sh*t policy all over their term & condition. dont forget tmnut still got gohmen at their back, and they rich enough to have a long court battle with you. individual like us probably cant do anything, look at how long malaysian been complaining about their services, and yet do you seen any improvement?

basically, they don't feel anything.
You don't pay, your streamyx gets cut off, and you're complaining. whistling.gif
How many broadband user can you find and make a group not to pay?
Don;t forget they still gains money from 1515,1315 and Telephone bills.
a mere <1% user that boycott to pay doesn't really harms them.

by the end of the month, you are the one on the losing side.
You get sued(if you did not pay for a long term, you can't get any access, and you gain nothing.)

Hmm ...... you guys still can use streamyx even if you owed them for months. That's something new that I didn't know, my friend was probably unlucky, the postman sent his bill to the wrong house, he didn't receive it so technically, he owned TMNET one month but funny thing, his account got suspended just because he didn't pay for that particular month. Weird, huh? He's from Butterworth by the way. It happened last year, not sure about now but it's interesting to know if we can drag our feet to pay our bills. thumbup.gif

Write a html file. That containing 10-20 "Iframe"`d tmnet website. After you open your html file, refresh as much as you like (especially working hours)
LET TMNET KNOW WE HAVE QUITE SUFFICIENT BANDWITH IN HAND WHILE THEY THROTTLE P2P AND IT IS VERY USEFUL TO JAM TMNET`S WEBSITE.

REMEMBER THEY ARE USING THEIRS SITE (IP) TO PROCESS ONLINE SERVICES (LIKE BILL COLLECTION FROM TMNET BRANCHES, GIVING ONLINE DUMMY SUPPORT, INTERNAL MEMO TO BULLETINS ALL ON THIS BACKBONE OF TMNET.)

Iframe that u fited in could be till 100 I guess, so each protestor will be like 100 person. biggrin.gif

Give them a bl**dy jam, Let them upgrade their`s website bandwith.. If they provide downloads from their`s site, you may download again-on-again other option to cut their`s bandwith pipe! All efficient and legal protests.

If here 100 person could be gathered and using a whole week working hours, it will be quite powerfull effect.

But just say it, are you AGREE/READY or not? It starts with you

u dont realli know wat ur talking about ah sir?. doh.gif
ur DDOs attempt wud have not give an itch to them because of their bandwith capacity/hardware Versus ur miniscule rakyat's pc.
Secondly ur using their own line for ur overly-ambitious attempt, wats stopping for pushing the off button to ur session? sweat.gif

i wud suggest just go find those local ADSL center and burn it down. With many ppl cant access internet, they wud complain and dump tmnut or at least u cud hurt tmnut's pocket to fix the those expensive hardware stuffs back... but hey, if ur very hardworking: - burn it down again wink.gif

i wonder sometimes... do they feel our anger here in LYN? i mean, they seem to let themselves blind-folded on this matter... i think they do not care a shit about what we want... i think i wanna stop using streamyx after my 2-year-contact end if they still cap my P2P speed... unsure.gif unsure.gif
