future proof because after awhile ram will get obsolete and very hard to find to upgrade or become expensive.

Since ram not really expensive for notebook 8gb only 145

i use alot photoshop, illustrator and medium gaming

Mine is already 1TB + 8GB ssd seems like very fast already

Do you exceed 8GB when doing work?
My office work exceeds 8GB (approximately 10GB) when running some test suite.
For photoshop + opening multiple tabs in browser (60~100+) + doing other work in background could also exceed that much too.
If you do not want to be bothered by RAM issues, grab a 4 slot RAM and purchase max RAM size (8GB x 4 = 32GB). Just an idea though if you have the budget brows.gif
