Help required, sifu's. smile.gif

I simply cannot go online. In my Network Connections, it says that I am connected to my LAN network and my router has already provided my PC with the required details (IP address etc).

However, my BSOD only appears whenever I try to launch/access anything that is related to the internet. When I lauch IE, it will launch and I will be able to surf as usual. However, after a few minutes, the BSOD happens and my PC will automatically restart, even after I have unchecked the "Automatically Restart" checkbox in the "System Failure" under "Startup and Recovery". Same goes for Windows Live Messenger.

As such, I am unable to find out what the cause of my BSOD is, and I am also thus unable to pinpoint my stop error "code". doh.gif

As I am only encountering this problem after I bought my new hardware, I suspect it's the driver's that's faulty. However, would anyone be kind enough to help me go through my minidump files and let me know what exactly is casuing this BSOD?

Help of any sort would be deeply appreciated.

Unchecking 'Automatically Restart' is to prevent you from seeing a BSOD.
With that unchecked your BSOD will happen in a flash and thus you will not be able to see the error code etc
As per usual, the attachments in this thread seem to be corrupted.

Please send your minidump to my email

hi everyone, can you help me to analyze the Windows Debugger dump analysis? It's very long, try my best in copying all of them here

summary:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.

I wish less people would come in here just wanting answers and not bothering to read at least some threads before urs.
you would notice i have asked for the minidumps to be sent to my email until the issue in the forum is fixed

You get it at c:\windows\minidump

and please don't expect people to reply you as though we're working here full time. thank you.

Hi there, your issue is with the kernel exectubale ntkrpamp and as a result it could be almost ANYTHING from your OS patches to an antivirus lacking the latest updates.

Let's see what we can make of this!

Can you download memtest86 (google it) and run the ram memory tester to see if your ram has issues

From your minidump,

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

You could try to check if any of your connected hardware or software driver are compatible to your Vista. I can see you're running some old hardware/software from your notebook.

Other things you can do is to upload all the 4 minidumps for a more accurate understanding of your crashes.

Hope it'll helps...

I am starting to see Windows Vista users with BSOD related to the system kernel process "ntkrpamp.exe". This process is also present on Windows system with PAE x86 motherboard support:

From MSDN:
QUOTE
The operating system image file that is installed depends on whether one or multiple processors are to be supported, and on whether Physical Address Extension (PAE) is supported. (PAE is active on systems with more than 4 GB of physical memory.). The file names on the distribution medium are as follows:

ntoskrnl.exe => Uniprocessor x86 architecture systems with 4 GB of physical memory or less.
ntkrnlpa.exe => Uniprocessor x86 architecture systems with PAE support.
ntkrnlmp.exe => Multiprocessor x86 architecture systems with 4 GB of physical memory or less.
ntkrpamp.exe => Multiprocessor x86 architecture systems with PAE support.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms792430.aspx

What is PAE?
QUOTE
In computing, Physical Address Extension (PAE) refers to a feature of x86 and x86-64 processors that allows more than 4 gigabytes (GB) of physical memory to be used in 32-bit systems, given appropriate operating system support.[1] PAE is provided by Intel Pentium Pro and above CPUs (including all later Pentium-series processors except the 400 MHz bus versions of the Pentium M), as well as by some compatible processors such as Athlon and later models from AMD.

The x86 processor hardware is augmented with additional address lines used to select the additional memory, so physical address size is increased from 32 bits to 36 bits. This increases maximum physical memory size from 4 GB to 64 GB. The 32-bit size of virtual address is not changed, so regular application software continues to use instructions with 32-bit addresses and (in a flat memory model) is limited to 4 gigabytes (GB). The operating system uses page tables to map this 4 GB address space onto the 64 GB of total memory, and the map is usually different for each process. In this way the extra memory is useful even though no single regular application can access it all simultaneously.

For application software which needs access to more than 4 GB of memory, some special mechanism may be provided by the operating system in addition to the regular PAE support. On Microsoft Windows this mechanism is called Address Windowing Extensions (AWE), while on Unix-like systems a variety of tricks are used, such as using mmap() to map regions of a file into and out of the address space as needed, none having been blessed as a standard.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_Address_Extension

PAE support is only available in Windows 32-bit systems.

If you suffer this memory addressing problem related to "ntkrpamp.exe", please to the following:
QUOTE
To enable PAE, use the BCDEdit /set command to set the pae boot entry option.

Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP/2000:  To enable PAE, use the /PAE switch in the Boot.ini file. To disable PAE, use the /NOPAE switch.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa366796.aspx

It would be useful to give information about your System RAM size, Windows OS (service pack) and CPU when facing "ntkrpamp.exe" issues. This is help us to isolate the problems related to the process and RAM memory hardware. And to debuggers, please include such information when posting the debugging result report like below example:
