Hi sifus, have some problems here~
Recently my computer getting BSOD randomly, it BSOD anytime, surfing internet, listening to music, watching video, etc~
So I reformat it, cleared BIOS, tested ram,processor,graphic card,hdd, everything is OK~
Is it my motherboard problem?

my pc can be turned on and it cant access to window xp as it appear a dark screen and were asked to reboot the pc and press any keys to continue. may i know what happened to my pc and what should i do with it?

when i plug my broadband on the left usb, my laptop got bluescreen but on other usb, it works fine. whats the probs actually?

Try update the Dota patch whether it work.

Guys, my DELL laptop is having Dark Screen of Death.

when i restart my laptop, it says "windows fails to start. recent hrdware/ sftware change might be cause."

when i try to launch startup repair, it goes dark screen only with a cursor..nothing happens after i used right&left clicks, ctrl+alt+del...no use..wait until couple of hours still got same result.

if starts windows normally, sudden blink of Blue Screen appear (for 0.2secs approx) and then the laptop restarts.

other boots option goes same like the above result. (dark screen w cursor & restart)

have u try boot into safe mode yet?

tried,but not working...black screen with cursor appeared..nothing can do with the cursor and ctrl+alt+del

it is on your bios or your bios have limited configuration,do check your random access memory, BSOD always happened when your system cannot work properly with your memory

run a video stress test with pccheck, qsoft32, or some other program that will max out your video card. ati tray tools has a nice tool to check for performance and artifacts.
after that install a clean version of windows, install just your drivers and test the card. if it fails then its a driver issue, if it passes then the drivers can handle a full speed program. from there install the game you were having issues with and see if they repeat. if they do then you know its not a hardware issue and it must be a driver issue with part of your system. from there i would move your cards to another comp with different chipsets and run that with the same video drivers. if it fails then its the video drivers, if it passes then its your comps chipset drivers.

guys, i got 1 machine on windows 7 64bit, sometimes bsod came out if more then 3-4 apps load.. for example 3-4 youtube videos...


izzit ram problem ?

Hi, good day to all of you, I have a quick question, i have these pairs of ram which are KVR1333D3n9/2g installed on my spec, and i though i wanted to add in some more ram and I got these pairs of KVR1333D3S8N9/2G alongside my original pair, but the system got unstable and i got BSOD frequently playing starcraft, so I removed them from my spec and everything went back to normal, should i return these new rams? Or is there any work around?

p/s: I have a GA X58A UD3R mobo, followed the instruction of the mobo manual on how to installing the new rams so I'm quite positive they were installed correctly. Original were in ddr_1 and ddr_3 slot
i tried:
Dual channel
(i)placing new ones in ddr_2 and ddr_4, 4 modules
3 channel
(ii)ddr_1, ddr_3, ddr_5 , 3 modules
(iii)ddr1_,ddr_2,ddr_3 and ddr_5 , 4 modules
all makes the system unstable

i got problem with my cpu.when vibrate its will be hang.why hah?

try using memtest86 to check ur ram first.

memtest86 test done, no error found... any idea whats the problem?

try change browser and check again, else, try swap the dimm slot position and check again, last month my pc also having that error bsod, after checkthrough everything, found it is one of my newly bought kingston hyper-x issue, so i just straight send it for wrty liao. fyi, i test it on my office dell system diagnostic software.
