hmm. it's against the law.. they'll sue you for libel, bla bla bla. Well you can use signs in place of the alphabets and use that argument in court and turn the suit around an sue them for false advertising, libel and who knows what else. biggrin.gif

anyway, trying out a vpn.. if it really works, i dun mind putting some money aside everyone for vpn service, rather than sit around with 5kb/s downloads.

Something's fishy around here. My friends are not heavy torrent downloader, they spend most of their time playing online games, heck, they didn't get throttle! doh.gif

Only because the throttling is for p2p traffic.

My direct downloads using Download Accelerator Plus never gets throttled. Is is only P2P traffic which gets throttled.

The topic is - TMNet throttles P2P and nothing else!

It starts slow till max at around 20kBps. At certain times, it will totally stop transmitting so you will need to disconnect and reconnect. Generally, you'll need to check on it from time to time. Once every 30 minutes to an hour.

What sniper method? You mean shooting the Traffic Shaping Appliance? Yes, I've heard that method does indeed work. biggrin.gif

It still works even though a bit slow. Speeds are about 20-30K but at least better than 0K!

Now i cant even upload, always stuck at less than 10kb/s even when i set it to 30kb/s. If anybody know how to bypass tmnet throttle, please PM me. I have tried touto, but the speed is very unstable, sudden shot up to 50kb/s then drop to 5kb/s. Now using utorrent 1.6 with streamyx 512kb/s package. U can check my previous post then u will know that i am not tmnet spy. Had joint this forum since 2 years ago. please, i am not only want to be able to download, but to upload as well so that i can help the BT community here in malaysia too. Thanks...

For those of you who haven't tried Toutu, i suggest you give it a go.. i'm able to achieve constant 40kbps for most torrents.. more info on Internet Related section.
