i juz move house
last time my old house the line is not throttle because its 1mb but i can dl at around 50kpbs this is of coz not as fast as last time when i can reach 100 or even 250 but nevertheless i still can dl at a stable 50kbps

after i move house, my new house line is 1.5mb but bt speed is slow like snails

1 or 2 kb damm

so the thing i wana ask is

if i decide to use vpn services
i set it on the modem or on my pc?

if set on the modem tat means my housemate also will enjoy the speed then mayb ask them to share the fee as well coz they bt also

vpn is set on your pc. you can't set vpn on your modem even if you wanted to. only you will be able to use the vpn on your pc. your friends will not have access to your vpn.

hmm. it's against the law.. they'll sue you for libel, bla bla bla. Well you can use signs in place of the alphabets and use that argument in court and turn the suit around an sue them for false advertising, libel and who knows what else.

anyway, trying out a vpn.. if it really works, i dun mind putting some money aside everyone for vpn service, rather than sit around with 5kb/s downloads.

I used it and torrents are between 20K to 40K. Who knows you might be lucky and get far better speeds than me.

Maybe u would like to move to US ??? i think u can get an 8Mb line for amount u had paid for 1mb line. I am heavily depending on streamyx to get myself entertain.

I was just giving example which is not necessary. Look at my screenshot, you can see I didn't have too many connections and still getting acceptable speed. A good bittorrent client should autodetect stale connection. However, it doesn't mean anyone will get that kind of speed. It is down to a lot of things. Besides, when the server gets crowded, i believe around 40 KB/s would be the max.

there is no such thing as the most reliable vpn. everyone here is using relakks because it is the cheapest (i think). there are other vpn services out there besides relakks. but i think they are more expensive.
