Anyone heard or familiar with this brand? I'm actually looking to upgrade my phono stage and was wondering if there are any opinions them here about their products.

I've heard of the Pi Pit phono stage but thats was a long time ago.

The M5Hz is a parallel line conditioner and works by attenuating, or rather, correcting the incoming AC power supply's sine wave.

mysticaldodo: heard it at a local hifi store, erm, not much improvement to the system, and i don't think it's worth it. You might want to go for Richard Gray's Or PS Audio

I ain't sure now but I've seen Millenium Hifi carried Trichord phono stage and was reviewed here:
http://202.186.86.35/audio/story.asp?file=...udiofile/13dino

I think Trichord products needs no introduction.

Maybe have a chat with uncle Adrian at Audio Image SS2/PJ..he's definitely a vinyl afficiando!

Let me try out, may be I won't see any difference because my house current don't have spike or unstable voltage. Always around 238v to 240v even at night also same.

Do you have any further info or URL for this brand? I don't see anything related in the website.

IIRC, Other than hearsay, the only web reference to the Pipit is here, unless you've already read it.
Seems only a mobile phone number and email addy available.

In case anyone is interested, I finally called Frank just now.

There are 2 phonostages,

The Pipit 2, which is passive RM 1,200

The Reference, active or something RM 3,500

As in most mid phono stages, you have the flexibility to adjust catridge loading, gain and such.

He doesn't have a shop or even a demo system and I can't find user's opinion about it.
