The Lowyat.NET Guide: Complaining against a moderator
You can either start a topic here, or PM a supervising member. We will help mediate and resolve your issues in an orderly manner. Before filing a complaint, please ensure that: 1. All reasonable steps to resolve the issue personally with the moderator have been taken. 2. You have read the rules and the FAQ. Often enough, your grievance has been addressed before. 3. Emotions are left at the door. 4. Assess yourself and see if you're the issue. Especially if you're accusing a mod of bias or practicing double-standards. 5. Back your claim up with facts. He did it, so will I = stupid lemming defence. 6. Be polite please. Moderators and Trade Enforcers are volunteers who don't get any material benefit out of doing their jobs except the satisfaction of helping build a better community here. We're all humans and mistakes are made. This post has been edited by badawi_rocks: Oct 7 2006, 10:04 AM |
