Wow, it's been a while. Time to revive this thread.

Oh, i haven't been buying anything from Amazon for a very long time and i just purchased 2 DVDs using Standard Intl Shipping. Any idea of rough estimation how long will it take to arrive normally?

Depends on the shipping courier.
If it's Airmail, prepared to wait for a long long time.
Normally around 2-3 weeks.
If using express couriers like DHL or UPS, normally around 4-6 days

I believe then it would be Airmail since Standard Intl Shipping has no airway tracking no. Damn, yeah the last i remember it's about give and take 2 weeks to receive.

I had 3 - 4 DVDs bought from this site. Excelent service to be honest. Once I reported that the DVD case was damaged, and they promptly sent a new one FOC. Where else can we get 2 disc special edition for only US$7~10 (except for ebay)? Sometimes similar to the Jack Sparrow version already da..

If you have a region free dvd player then can play other region dvd.

If not you can play use computer but only limit to 10 times per DVD rom

hi, yes you will need a credit card to make purchases on amazon. if you do not own a credit card, you can get those visa debit cards; no salary check requirements and all.

can anyone pls tell me how the process and steps of ordering dvd online and types of payments required ?i mean skip the "add to cart,payment method,all that" step...after those steps..do i need to pay for anything when my dvd arrive in malaysia ?

Any one offers service to get DVDs from amazon i really want to get the incredible hulk 3 disc special edition from there i dont want to do it by myself anyone offering service cheaply or bulk service to get DVds from amazon?

Ebay is quite cheap. You can get good bargains sometimes for older titles.

A Visa debit card is also like an ATM card, right? Whats the difference if you purchase using a debit card and credit card?

Debit card - deduct money from your account immediately.
Credit card - you get some time (10~20 days), then you pay them manually.

If you don't want to buy from Amazon, try ebay.. sometimes the shipping is cheaper but you may have to
bid for it if not interested in buy it now. Ebay is quite safe.. sign up and use paypal with your credit card.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any risks using debit card? Sounds better than credit card since I heard you might have to pay some sorta interest or something if you use credit card.
