I am currently waiting for a YesAsia shipment of 2 DVDs totalling USD28 to arrive. From your experiences what are the chances of it beng detained by our notorious Customs?

I ordered quite a few HD-DVDs and woop-dee-do, I got the familiar letter again yesterday (here comes the $$$)!I'm not going to hand it to them so easily this time

yes, last time i order toys from yesasia also the asked for the same thing. Just email them la, no issue.

yeah it's normal for yesasia to request for that, just remember blank out the important numbers loh if u scan ur credit card

receive my order of Project A and Police Story dvds from play-asia, sent out on the 1st, receive on the 6th, free shipping, pretty quick this time

Well guys, my orders from yes-asia just came in last nite. they shipped 3 double cds pack ( 6 cds in total) in 2 seperate shipment. why 2 shipment? bcos they always ship 3/4 orders when they are ready first while waiting for the rest. it only took 2 weeks to recieve my orders from the day i ordered online! really fast! economy mail.

Cds came in fine, no issue with customs despite being tagged as merchandise and the value was on front of the box! will update with pics by trow!

Hi, Just received my dvd from yesasia today.The shipment took 10 days inclusive the CNY holidays.Test it on the player.it was ok but disappointed bcoz discs surface dirty with lots of stain.Has anyone experienced this before?Can region 1 dvd be played on region 3 player?I would like to know if there is a multi region dvd player.

Howie, all dvd players sold in msia are open to view dvds from any region. so no issue with playing dvd from region 1 - 5 unless you own a dvd player thats locked in from overseas

Oh!actually it's not 2 dvd players.I order 2 dvd discs.

But you don't get free shipping this way?

I see on their Yesasia website, got 2 ways

(1) Wait for everything to be ready, then ship em.
(2) Ship whatever is ready first, the rest ship later.

Method 1 qualifies for free shipping but method 2 does not.

sorry for the late reply- yes, even though they ship in 2 shipments, i still get free shipping. yes asia practice is to ship whatever they have first if the rest of the order takes too long to confirm.

highly recommended to shop with yes asia.
