Can someone please explain to me regarding the Streamyx Combo packages?

I live at SS2 area and do not have phone line at the place i m renting.
If i m going to apply Streamyx combo, is it mean i have to apply the phone line as well and pay RM 28 per month?

My current place do not have any extra phone port, if i m going to fix it, will it cost me alot for the phone installation/cabling?

If you are going to apply for Streamyx, you are required to have a fixed line. As for the Streamyx Combo promotion, by looking at the monthly fees it does look like the monthly rental fee for the fixed line is included inside, however if you go for the higher packages such as the 2mbps and 4mbps, you will see a lot of difference there and it is much cheaper with the Streamyx Combo promotion.

Streamyx is already a broadband so your term Streamyx + Broadband is relatively misleading, it is a Celcom Broadband (wireless broadband via 3G).

This promotion is called the Home, Hop & Away promotion. Proceed to your nearest TMPoint to confirm if the promotion is still on, by right it was supposed to end on the 31st of March but the advertisements for this promotion is still airing on TV.
