yup a software to lock/secure the content in the drive. once u had set the "lock" to active, nothing u can do with the content including copying it out. cant really remember the name as that was way long ago before changed to the recent drive after it kong. <i'll check it up ltr.... yup, if manage to find it back>

u means is the DT2's SecureTraveler application

try to send back to the shop for warranty?
kingston have 1-3 years warranty. i think they might as well change new pen drive for u. |

She can get it right on the spot, "1 to 1" exchange( If the shop does provide it ). Means that she would be able to warranty it and directly get a new pendrive without waiting for 3 weeks or so.
