Because NOKIA 3660 is running in Symbian OS v6.1 and therefore this '3 secret keys' function is not implemented to it, only Symbian OS v7.0 or higher only capable doing this type of formatting method.

You can do it by pressing *#7370# or *#7780#. biggrin.gif

You're right, besides, it is recomended to plug in a charger while formatting the phone because while in the process of formatting and your phone being turned off, this will permanently damage the phone system. shocking.gif

So make sure your battery is fully charged or plug in the charger before formatting... A trip to Nokia Center will cost you RM30 for reflashing... sweat.gif

i receive this e-mail today, not sure whether this is true or not :

"If you receive a phone call on your mobile from any person, saying that, he or she is a company engineer, or telling that they're checking your mobile line, and you have to press # 90 or #09 or any other number. End this call immediately without pressing any numbers. There is a fraud company using a device that once you press #90 or #09 they can access your "SIM" card and make calls at your expense. Forward this message to as many friends as you can, to stop it"
