so, what is the porpose of the d connector actually? is there any example of tv or lcd monitors that have d connector? i try to google just now but i can't find any relevent answers.

In appearance it is a small flat trapezoid connector, the same connector as the AAUI connector used by Apple Computer for some time to connect to ethernet. A D4 connector carries a Component video signal (Y Pr Pb). A device with a D4 connector can understand and display the following video signals:

* Japanese D1 video - 525i (480i).
* Japanese D2 video - 525p (480p).
* Japanese D3 video - 1125i (1080i/1035i).
* Japanese D4 video - 750p (720p).

To make it simple, only HDTV sold in Japan uses D-Terminal. HDTV from other place are using Component Cable.

1) I'm not sure myself, but some people claims that stepdown converter increase your electricity usage; hence you have to pay more when the bill come.

2) Yes, it does produce heat.

my answers,

1. bad thing about using the stepdown is it's too huge and need space and if you travels a lot then sure sakit kepala lah.

2. i am using the 500w stepdown and just a little heat only. you wont feel it at all

1. Increase ur electricity usage but not that much thou...but what the hell my gamecube and dreamcast they all using stepdown lol...

2. Heat yes...but so far so good..no problem..for me..

Yes you can. That's why you can see people playing Halo 2 online on 360.

Ok i just want to know .. at my place the xbox 360 is selling at RM 1988 and DOA 4 for RM 250 ..

is this price reasonable or rip off ? ..

and also how about playing online for DOA 4 ? Free or else ? .. any free online gaming for XBox 360 ?

wah, definately a rip off! xbox360 premium only cost around RM1400~ now... DOA4 NTSC/J (Japan) is going for us$29.90 now at play-asia. supports english language.
