they said they have done many improvement laugh.gif

like
support HTTP download (rubbish, FlashGet can be better. always cant connect to the server)
can download video in youtube or other website (damn, become bug of v0.80, when you trying to download video, it crash)
add support for connection via HTTP, SOCK4, SOCK5 proxy server (dun cheat!!! this function aledi can found in v0.70, but juz disable from 0.71 to 0.77 only)

they make more and more bugs... doh.gif

btw, i still dunno what the DHEv2 use to....
but when there is other peer using it, i can receive data from him even he is China IP

after you click on a task

Just question for those who get full high speed on Bitcomet 0.70: under protocol encryption, do you guys out "auto detect" or "always"? I'm using auto detect and speeds are not constant. I've port forwarded and all ports are open. I'm not using the usual ports (6881 etc). The torrent has high seeds and a reasonably number of leeches (like me tongue.gif). I suspect I'm in a area which TMNUT is doing BT trottling, but so far BC has been able to give me (relative) high speeds, higher than what I can get for utorrent and tuotu.

Would putting it to "always' help? I'm happy to post up my settings to let you all see.

Thanks in advance.

protocol encryption should be on ALWAYS. hmm the usual ports is for the programme to run, did u forward the LISTENING PORTS too? without forwarding your listening ports, u'll get crappy speeds...

just my 2 cents

Thanks to all who replied. The utorrent port test reports that the port that I am using, 23578, is open and all is ok. I have enabled encryption to always are speeds are now a bit more stable. Thanks to all who replied.

May I ask, just in curiosity, what is/are the listening port(s)? Is is the port I forwarded?

listening port in BitComet (or listening 'ports' for old type of BT client) is the port that we use to send/receive data...

the port that you need to forward is the port that you listen
