yes...you just delete the *.bc extension, load the original *.torrent file in uTorrent, and set where the file is currently dled...it will do the recheck and dl it after the recheck is done..

i read some info in the other forums, some clients can be set to ban BitComet users...?

That was mainly because of the faulty implementation of DHT in previous versions that caused some unfair situation to other peers.

It's remained banned in many private trackers still.

i don't know why if i instal the 0.70 version, my norton av will prompt whether i want to permit or block this program, and each time i choose either permit or block the same warning appear again and again asking the same question, the weird thing is this not happen if i use 0.57 version any idea?
*

open Norton AntiVirus Option > Internet Worm Protection > Program Control
at here, remove ur "bitcomet" at there
then, "Permit" that bitcomet 0.70 warning

after this, Norton AntiVirus will not ask the same question again and again...

Can any one help me out by telling me how to set a correct and fastest download speed setting for your bitcomet ?? Also wat do u do to get ur maximum speed not the proxy capped thing. Anyway does norton 2006 do slow your download speed ?? I forgot wat i do to get my maximum speed last time. After i reformat my pc the speed just wont go more than 60KB/s
*

For Streamyx 512kbps download, approximately u can get 60~70kBps the most... and for 1024kbps download, can break 100kBps mark...

My max now is like 110kBps...

QUOTE(unknown @ Jul 17 2006, 03:03 PM)
I don't think Norton2006 will slow down ur download speeds. If u running on router mode, do port-forwarding.

What I did is...

turn off nVidia's nForceware Firewall and Norton's Internet Worms Protection
set porfworwarding according to http://www.portforward.com/
set EXCEPTIONAL for Windows Firewall if I turned it ON

That's all and I didnt use other security application such as Zone Alarm.

I'm using bitcomet 0.7 i feel a very strange thing in this bitcomet,
it will slow down the bandwith speed after few hour ( not sure how long time )

let say i connected 218.xx.xx.xx then i ping ip ( example www.hinet.net)
then i get average 70ms

but after download few hour i ping again will get 300ms in same ip

is it like that ?
