Hi noob question.
I've installed WMP11. NOticed that my chinese songs are displayed as gibberish in the library. Same thing in WMP9 & 10 too. How to get it to display chinese characters? I've enabled East Asian Languages in the COntrol Panel/Regional settings, but still can't. Help please. |

I think your MP3s are not tagged in Unicode chinese. A few things you can try. - Re-tag all the MP3s with chinese unicode (the one you key in using WinXP IME). A very tedious process but good for long term. - Use Software like Chinese Star to open and see whether - Use applocale - for more information refer to this thread |

Some characters still a bit mashed up, but at least it's in Chinese now. |

Same problem here in WMP11. And even when I try to play song A again the album art won't defect. I think it can be considered as defect. |

I wonder why since it used to work before but not now anymore. Once I click Apply for the changes that i made, the field of artist just become blank and cant be editted anymore. Any clue?? |

Why WMP10 reset the video setting after I reopen the program, it wont save my preferred saturation setting. And it shows oversaturated color when it plays anime. Very troublesome to set it everytime time when I want to watch anime

For album art problem
- Please rename to 'folder.jpg' @dattebayo - not at the moment For splitting audio - there is an audio splitter plugin that comes with K-lite, Morgan Audio chooser or multimedia splitter or something like that, but you need to manually choose it. @kmf Those are different files. look at the length. that's why it's grouped the same |

Window Media Player is a piece of shit software. I can't imagine there are people who can be an enthusiasts for such a buggy, crash-prone piece of shit. there are zillions of other alternative media players out there that play smoothly all the time with various different codecs and subtitle support. Windows Media Player is definitely not one of them.
