Just buy a wireless router with build in switch. Get linksys. With this you can surf with your laptop using wireless and you pc will be cable.

hi there...i would like to ask a question..
How do share ONE streamyx connection between 2 computers ( 1 laptop 1 pc)
I have the modem (originated from streamyx) and switch (jz brought recently)
but im stuck in hw to make these work..i can only on9 with either one of my comp. (both computers using cables to connect to the internet)
Any guide will be appreciated. THX

1st: Make sure u connect ur modem to ur switch using the cable.

2nd: Attach two cables from ur comp to ur switch.

3rd: Make sure there will be three lights blinking at ur switch; One for switch and the other two for ur comp.

4th: DONE!

will doing speedtest near to the wireless modem have difference if you move farther away from the wireless modem?

Is it better to install wireless modem upstairs for better coverage than putting downstairs?

Need help. I have setup my PC with Aztech ADSL Ethernet and connect the D-Link wireless router DI-524 for wireless connection. The problem that I have is unable to get connection on wireless if my PC is running. For wireless connection to be operational the PC need to turn off.

Not sure maybe wrong setting up. Anyone please help. sad.gif Thanks.

Sorry for my noobness. I got a question to ask. My current router and switch setup is working perfectly fine. The problem is i want to add in another wireless router to the current network. How can i do this?

I have tried wiring the current router to the wireless router but i have problem with other pc. How should i configure this problem. Thanks

Hi All,

Need expert advise here.
I want to setup fully wireless network in my small office (WLAN) With NO INTERNET or INTERNET SHARING FROM PC1.

We have 5 pcs, and PC1 as main PC connect to wireless router using Network cable that already supply in box (Tp-Link WR542G). Im stuck with WLAN. All the PC (PC2-PC5) can connect to the router but not is LAN for Sharing Files & Printer.

Which part do i miss?
