what's the error u have?

you should try the nightly build,
http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/latest/
updated everynitgh iirc.

if nighly build still crash for u, u should report to the author, else use other player

the best player i think is Neuview and GOM
but Neuview cant display .mkv subtitle and GOM display .mkv sub got problem with the word.(some word cant display)

got any player can decode the image and can display .mkv sub correct?

winamp take alot of memory is there any method to let my winamp take lesser memory.. i got 8000 songs.. surviving with miserable 1 gb ram

well, that would depend on post-proccessing filter, video codecs and video renderer used during playback, combine with some special video player eg, wmp11, mpc or zoomplayer,

what do you mean what format? file extension?
audio: mp3, wav, ape, ogg, aac
video: avi, mpg, mov, mkv, rmvb

most mtvs are in avi or mpg.

can someone help me.. everytime i use mpc to play my video (dvd or avi), i cant seem to make it fullscreen.. all i got is black screen on fullscreen..

My media player can't play mkv format. Doesn't the codec pack have the format? I've installed the mega codec pack.

Tips for rmvb files: Install KM Player and Real Alternative codec, next enjoy your videos.

P/S: I'm a KMP fan! XD
The info&link shown in 1st page is KMP in Korean, but you can grab multi language version at other sites eg. softpedia.

how do i share my media library within my LAN so that i can access it with another pc? i mean like the itunes shared library feature..
