What is a Tag?
A "tag" is a one-word descriptor of your thread at its bare minimum. Tags simplify the way the forum looks. Thread titles may be deceiving to what they are about. This solves the mystery. They also serve to help the poster. Some members scan for certain types of threads, be they "Help" threads or "Release" threads, and thus, your thread may get attention quicker.


Tags that are available for Desktop Customization

Help - Use the "Help" tag when you have a question or need assistance.

Link - Use the "Link" tag when you are sharing a piece of work by others.

Release - Use the "Release" tag when YOU are distributing a piece of work (YOUR OWN WORK) throughout the community.

Request - Use the "Request" tag when you are looking for something in particular from the community (wallpaper, iconset, visual style).

Where do I add a Tag to my thread?
There is a drop-down menu that you can select your tag from. Click on the drop-down arrow and choose your desired tag.
