can i only allow web surfing by just using the rules table in the filter? i tried to only allow port 80 but didn't work

you need a proxy server so that you can control what ever you like..

Honestly , I would think by blocking all the ports..It would be harder for someone to use the Internet
Let them use FTP , Mail [POP/SMTP/IMAP] and all other basics stuff..The rest you block |
