i'm using a hub with 8 ports. all of them are connected by pc. but one pc connected to the hub cannot send any file or sharing. in the status only has sent while received is 0...
any setting for that pc?

the others are ok...we also cannot access to his pc...is there anything wrong with his network card?

maybe...erm very weird enough...try to reinstall the tcp/ip..
to do this u need special software..i am sorry that i can't remember the software name...

try set to "obtain an IP adress automatically"
see what happen ...

from ur desktop, double click the LAN icon..
press properties,double click the tcp/ip and select "obtain an IP adress automatically"

give it a try.. happy.gif

maybe firewall is on on dat pc or recieving pc..blocking each others ip address?

it can be done... set ur pc that want to dial the internet as a gateway ip for others computer...

from that pc also, open the dialer, open the properties box and go to "advanced tab". Tick the "internet connection sharing"..

then press ok. Hope this solve your problem. happy.gif

ok, actually, our pcs are in wifi range but only some of them have wifi adapter...want to utilize their adapter...
