if u have quicktime alternative installed, u should be able to play the quicktime file in Media Player Classic.
i'm not sure of this, but i don't think Microsoft's WMP wants to play QuickTime files, cuz it's an Apples'. |

Guys, so i re-installed K-lite Mega Codec, and when i run a quicktime video, i can hear audio, but alas, the video doesn't come out.
i get the error : Quicktime is missing software required to perform this operation. Unfortunately, it is not available on the QuickTime server. This is with : 1) WMP 11 2) K-lite Mega Codec with Quicktime Alternative Anyone can help? |

Guys, how come some of the .rm / rmvb files playback not smooth (play normal and like fast forward few seconds ) but some files are ok. Are the files corrupted or ???

A bit embarassing to ask but i just installed XP then popped in CCCP and the new FFDShow from free-codecs.com. Now i notice that everytime i play an avi file WMvideo Decoder DMO is the default codec for avi. I want ffdshow to do the codec decoding. It used to handle that in win2k for me. I have WMP 11 installed (came with the XP i installed).
Any ideas will be most helpful.  Edit: Both Bsplayer and MPC uses the damn windows codec for avi files. This post has been edited by RangerRed: Dec 31 2006, 03:29 PM |

Download the mediainfo Graphical interface,

but very weird ... before after i reformat my pc i can view video with display and sound but now no display only sound ..
