without internet ?? i prefer AVG / AVIRA or AVAST

coz those anti virus can update manual ( download offline update files)

but .. for me.. recommended use AVIRA.. the world most greatest AV ever!!  rclxms.gif

which free antivirus that supports manual updates (by letting us set the path of the virus definition file without going online at all)??? coz in my company some of the computers dont have internet... so cannot update... so im planning to put the update file in the server... so that other computers can automatic refer to this server and NOT THE OFFICIAL UPDATE server via the intrenet..... im planning to download virus definition files around 2 times per week... i know kaspersky can do it... but dont know which FREE AV can do that....

Update settings – URL

Getting here: Main Screen -> Main Menu Tools -> Advanced settings -> branch Update -> URL

This page shows the address of the server for downloading AVG update files. In AVG Anti-Virus 8.5 Free, the address is fixed and you cannot change it.

OMG.... cannot lah bro.... so avg free cannot, same goes to avast... bitdefender free no use... no active scanning... kaspersky/nod32/webroot all no free version.... norton no need to say... clamwin/clamav also no active scanning.... waaaah..... God Please Help Me!!!

I vote for DrWeb. Much better than Avira, Kapersky and Symantec combined.
