I used to run a pirated version of Office 2003 and now there is this annoying message from Microsoft GAN saying my copy is not the genuine copy.
I just want to know where I can get a genuine copy of Frontpage 2003 or
anything newer. I know Microsoft no longer publishes Frontpage and that is
why I am asking if anyone working in any of the IT shops that still has a genuine copy of Frontpage for sale - don't have to be 2003 but at least a
version 2003 or later. Let me know what you offer. Rgds/David

To solve the serial number that cannot be used on some computers. This is the problem. For OEM PC. there are 3 revisions of Windows XP OEM.

1. Blue label Windows XP SP1a plastic
2. Green label Windows XP SP2 plastic
3. Yellow label Windows XP SP3 paper

All 3 versions of the disc is NOT compatible with each other. You can call Microsoft but they cannot help you, as they cannot generate the activation number without the correct serial number.

Tried and tested, called and confirmed. So this is a summarized version of what i found. This is the same with windows XP home & pro edition OEM, VLK and retail.

If you can install and cannot run genuine advantage validation, check the PC date and time. A usual missed item.

Which will cost you a few hundred ringgit depends on PRO or HOME edition.
Or you can call up Microsoft hotline for help.
Must be very careful if you call up Microsoft hotline, as usual they will record all your conversation at the phone.
You may search at google for help also, but so far I couldn't find any.

No short cut la... We used their service, we need to pay them. They (Microsoft) also need to eat.

For OEM win xp pro or home, you could activate the serial up to 3 times. Then you need to call Ms to get new activation code.

I just updated my laptop to SP3. Then this WGA Notifications starting to appear at Logon screen and then after Logon screen. My wallpaper was disabled. Already checked the link that you mentioned in the 1st post. My problem is, there's no WGA Notifications in my Add Remove Programs list. So that means mine is not the pilot version of WGA Notifications.

Then how to disable or remove non-pilot version of WGA Notifications?

2nd, what will happen in the future if I continue to ignore these notifications?
