At least use red, and not flashing. Why do you want to confuse other drivers? Provokes accidents...
Tonight I saw someone with red foglights. Imagine he only has those on... others may think it's a car they are following, and that they are on the wrong lane so they change to his lane.

I can get behind the idea of an extra red brake lamp, as long as it is not blinking. I've seen an alza with 5 (!!) F1 lamps behind the rear hatch window. It's the blinking ones that I cannot stand, annoying as heck, not to mention illegal. Worse are those ahbengs who fit 2 or more blinking ones that does not sync, so one blinks faster than the other.....wanna ahbeng also kenot ahbeng properly. The white and blinking ones are the worst. To the TS, if you install a white brake light, I hope they saman your a$$

I once saw a very bright white color flashing brake light, some more pointing straight to driver's eyes, damn f**king annoying. Really piss me off at the jam as i was tired after work, had to overtake him to avoid being flashed. I'm not f**king blind, that driver should flash himself instead. Normal functional 3rd brake light is good enough (unless you have a very aged dimm light).

Getting Started
|
the idea behind these lights is because F1 cars need to save weight. And so it was, the lights are placed there and thats all they need.
Road cars however already have 2 big brake lights left and right, one inside the car, between the seats. And now you want to add MORE, tambah lagi berat. haha.

Unfortunately JPJ has not been specific about the mods. Only blinking lights are prohibited but no mention of additional rear facing lights and colours.
Cars with additional lamps in the rear are allowed, for example, rear fog lamps but it cannot be blinking.

QUOTE(dares @ Apr 8 2013, 01:36 PM) That....doesn't make it betterĀ and illegal just the sameĀ It's not illegal too add 4th brake light or rear foglights. My car comes with rear fog lamps and they are even brighter than the brake lights to be used in foggy conditions where standard night/brake lights are not sufficient. As long as it does not blink, it is not prohibited by JPJ. JPJ only prohibits blinking lights. This post has been edited by sleepwalker: Apr 8 2013, 01:52 PM
