QUOTE(kinabalu @ Mar 27 2013, 10:59 AM) ‘Don’t call Sabah part of Malaysia’ PNOY on weed again?!! interesting comment BIMP-EAGA Down the Drain "Pity that all those entrepreneurs from Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei (including the Sultan) are now seeing their efforts to integrate the region economically flushed down the drain because of one lunatic Kiram clan. Lot's of energy by airlines, shippers, tourism industry, and others all lost because of people who still want all goods shipped through Manila to get to other places in SE Asia. Who benefits from this except the smugglers of people and goods, and those who want "cabotage" to continue?" Pinoys are so farking retarded, instead of promoting economic and political stability and integration in the region, they prefer to entertain some defunct lunatic from the past.

QUOTE(Einjahr @ Mar 27 2013, 09:35 AM) Do you remember what it was like when politicians think they are generals? Hitler was an excellent example. A disaster. lol Anyway, why cant we have former generals to lead the ministry of defense anyways... You forget that Hitler is a soldier that became a politician that causes all this trouble. Generals must never become politicians, unless they cut all ties with the military, or we end up like a military shithole like Egypt and Pakistan. There is no one country ran by a military junta is ever successful. The civilians must control the military or we all will end up like North Korea.

Singapore former Defense Minister Teo Chee Hean had a navy background anyway, therefore don't understand the paranoia of hiring a guy with military background to do the job.

Maybe we should give the reins of Defence Minister to a former military dude.

Bad idea. Do you want a someone got butthurt in a cabinet meeting, disagreeing strongly with the civilian PM, practically in charge of people with guns, decides to "do the right thing" by mounting a coup? That kinda shit happen all the time when you bring in a military man into political circles. The defence ministry practically controls the nations arms locker. You trust a general to run it?

PATRIOTIK: Biar seragam disarung pudar warna, namun bukan semangat juangnya. Terkesan dengan insiden pencerobohan pengganas Sulu di Sabah, veteran polis, Baharin Abu Bakar, 84, kembali menyarung seragam lamanya ketika menghadiri majlis Himpunan Ramah Mesra Veteran Polis, Special Constable (SC), Home Guard (HG) dan Jungle Scout/Squad bersama Menteri Besar Pahang, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob di Kuantan.
