Yes, unfortunately. Most apps are compiled for ARM, not x86

The recently-revealed Intel dual-core processor powering the Lenovo K900 has performed commendably in a benchmark.

Powered by a 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, the smartphone scored more than 27,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. Comparatively, the HTC Droid DNA settles for a score of 14,000.

The latter device is powered by the quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro. The benchmark for the K900, however, also outperformed the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which sports a 1.6GHz Exynos 4412 processor.
the intel dual core proc nearly double of the quadcore performance.. you think leh?

Not really. Take a look at the Play Store, you'll find x86 apps. Why would they be necessary?

Most Android apps are programmed to run natively on ARM processor...intel is x86 not ARM

Developers need to code Android apps to support ARM and x86 if they want...see http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/c...re-some-samples

other than ARM, there also MIPS processor that support Android OS...but hardly can run most native ARM apps
