Yes... Dr. Yeoh can treat guinea pigs...

I've been bringing my guinea pigs to him for a while now...

Hi all, I'm staying in Pandan Indah. I would like to know, which is the nearest Vet that is most recommended? Coz I know some of the vet is not caring at all. And roughly how much is the 2nd vaccination + deworm for the puppy?

I was quoted RM 200 (could even be more) to castrate my DLH male cat at Hayward Clinic, eventhough I have frequented his clinic for my other 2 cats sleep.gif

Usually his fees are reasonable, it's in Ampang so I expected it to be somewhat more expensive than other private vet clinics outside KL, but RM 200 for a snip for male kitty? Haiya... Dr Singam (I think that's his name) insist on blood work before castration.

I paid RM 180 (include 3 days 2 nights stay at his clinic to recoup) to neuter my female DSH stray I picked up (after her first on-heat session convinced us to take her to be spayed when she's ok to undergo surgery), thus I was expecting something less than RM180. That's why when he quoted RM200 really put me off a little bit...

I have read mixed reviews of Klinik Kembiri DBKL, eventhough it's uber cheap (RM40 for male) but heard of unfortunate pets that didn't make the surgery... so I'm not willing to go to a conveyor spaying facility for my kitty...

Anyway, I need some feedback and advise from those who knows a good vet clinic recommendation around KL (I stay at Setiawangsa). I'd appreciate that you could share your good experience and the clinic's address & phone number, that would be great.

EDIT: naughty Dopey knows I'm bringing him to be snipped he hit enter before I finished my post... sleep.gif;

Vet Rajha Singam does house calls. if u have too many dogs and need a vet to come to ur place, he's ur guy. he charges 50 bucks extra for house calls. His charges aren't one of the cheapest either. but like i said, he can save u the trouble of transporting ur dog to the vet.

i won't recommend Hayward clinic in Ampang opposite the Ampang Point, reason being the vet charge very expensive, furthermore there is no receipt after payment. He will charge like 200, 300 or 400, not sure how did he come up with the price. sad.gif

strongly avoid Hayward

Hello,

I live around Taman Segar with a sick red eared slider. Does the SEGAR PETS CENTRE & VETERINARY SERVICES treat red eared sliders? My one has a bit bulging eye and lung infection not so severe. How much do you guys think it will cost?

Thanks

It's kinda funny that Dr. Jeya isn't listed yet.

Dr. Jeyaseelan Arasoo
Klinik Haiwan Melaka
MT 74, Taman Sinn Ujong Pasir, 75050 Melaka
Phone:013-6302205

By appointment only though. He's the vet for SPCA Melaka, if I'm not mistaken.

Hey guys, do you know what is the "standard" charge to castrate a male dog ?

I have a cross-min pin and thinking to neuter him.
