SEGAR VETERINARY HOSPITAL
No.2, Jln Manis 3, Tmn Segar, Cheras, 561000 KL
Tel: 03-91302059; 91304641; 91332343
Mon-Sat 9am-9pm, Sun&Public holidays 9am-5pm

they have night emergency service too but you must call and be there while waiting for the doctor to arrive. Night Emergency number: 03-91317839/012-3817003

I recommend Dr. Chee, he's a well experienced & friendly vet and normally you are expected to wait because he often deals with pets' surgeries.

Does this vet deal with GP checkup ?

Anyone had tried to send their pets to Damansara Animal Centre (a vet that reside in PetSafari, IKANO)?
Mind to share your experience?

I'm still deciding either to take my cat to Damansara Animal Centre(easy to park my car, and to shop at PetSafari), or to http://kristysark.com/..

HELP please

I don't think there's 24hours Vet available in Malaysia.

Hi Hao,

The guys from Animal Health Center @ Ara (link) I mentioned earlier in my post on the 19th of June also have a 24-hour pet emergency service.

When you have a pet emergency, you call their handphone and if it's an emergency they will come to their clinic to treat the animal right away.

Cheers.

I came across this thread while searching for a reputable vet clinic to castrate my cat. I saw with a shock someone recommending a clinic which is nothing but just a backyard breeder with NO vet qualifications, but providing vet services like vaccinations & neutering/spaying.

Beware of this clinic, peeps:

Imadi Pet Clinic
No.27,Jalan BB31/BB, Kota Kemuning,
40460 Shah Alam,
Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The owner, Ismail, has a bad reputation amongst cat lovers in various forums, and the latest mishap that I came across is in http://forums.petfinder.my/showthread.php?t=2380.

He is a backyard breeder, and the cats in the back of his petshop are all sick and poorly. He is NOT a certified vet either. He used to hire a vet, but the vet left a few years ago. He is now acting as a vet, practising what he learned from observing his vet.

If you love your pets, don't send your pets there.
