Hi everyone. I hv just moved to Penang last December 08 from Sabah. I need to visit one of the vet here since my cat is not feeling well. I'm staying in Tg Tokong area. Where is the nearest vet that is good and how is the charges like? I did go to the gov. vet in Kg. Jawa a few days back but are not satisfied with their service. Can anyone suggest which vet i should go. Thank you in advance.

Almost 1 year old is good to neuter. Cost is depends on weight and which vet you go. For a toy breed should cost you around 200+-

Tried HAYWARD ANIMAL CLINIC and he was pretty cold to my pet. There's a line between being professional and being cold but he only touched my pet when he needs to touch it which is hardly (note: pet = size small). He didn't even made an effort to befriend my pet first. Very cold attitude. Only smiled when I hand over the cash.

SEGAR VETERINARY HOSPITAL
No.2, Jln Manis 3, Tmn Segar, Cheras, 561000 KL
Tel: 03-91302059; 91304641; 91332343
Mon-Sat 9am-9pm, Sun&Public holidays 9am-5pm

they have night emergency service too but you must call and be there while waiting for the doctor to arrive. Night Emergency number: 03-91317839/012-3817003

I recommend Dr. Chee, he's a well experienced & friendly vet and normally you are expected to wait because he often deals with pets' surgeries.

Dr. Prem is good

They opened a branch in PJ, a Pet Hospital.

The doctors there are super caring and nice to all kinds of animals.

Dis pet clinic i went there 2 days ago coz my dog got diarrhea and vomit. I worry dat it is Parvo Virus. Da doc giv my dog a jab, 2 types of medi, do white blood count, doin some test on da stool and it onli cost me RM77. Which is very cheap compared to last time i brought my dog to another pet clinic for her flu, and da vet charged me RM100. Dis new vet even call me back to check up on my dog to make sure she is ok.

Highly RECOMMENDED!
