I'd like to seek for your advise, what's the cheapest or most efficient way to go to (and come back from) KLIA?

remark:
- We have got 2 persons
- Ask somebody to send me there is NOT an option.
- I got a car.

Busses to LCCT:

from Subang Parade as early as 4.45 am until 12 mid night.

TAke ERL.

take commuter/Star LRT to Bandar tasik Selatan.

Change to ERL. from Bandar tasik Selatan, take ERL transit to Putrajaya. that will cost RM 5.30 per person.

then from putrajaya, get out of the station. then go back in again with a ticket to KLIA. which cost RM6.20 per person.

that will turn out about RM 11.50 per head ( without adding the LRT charges yet. )

CONS-

u need alot of time to change trains.

Take Star LRT to Chan Sow Lin station
Take the KLIA express coach there... RM10 per head
Comfy bus ride takes about 50 minutes to reach KLIA.
If not mistaken there's bus every 1 hour.

Taking it from Hentian Duta will cost you RM20 per head

Or call the yellow taxi service... any taxi company numbers. Usually will cost around RM60 per trip, depends on where you take the taxi lar. This is the most hassle free method.

where is your home ?

if Cheras, the fare if not mistaken is around RM 75.00+ via Airport Taxi to KLIA

then going by ERL (Bdr Tasik Selatan = RM 26.50 x 2 = RM 53.00) is bit cheaper then taking the taxi. http://www.kliaekspres.com/

Anyhow taking the ERL train will be cheaper, unless you stay near the Airport.

Also last time there used to be Shuttle Buses from Chan Sow Lin LRT Station to KLIA for RM 10.00. Click the link below for the information about the bus.

Taking the bus at Chan Sow Lin LRT station is the cheapest and comfortable. But u need transport to go to the station, carrying baggages.

Taking ERL is expensive, unless u use the transit tricks but time = $. But then, u still need transport to go sentral or BTS.

Taking taxi is expensive for 1 person, but if 2 or more, it is ok. Pick u up at your door. Cheras -> KLIA = RM76.50 (or 76.20 - forgot).

My practice for 2 persons, take ERL when depart (since bring less baggages), take Limo when arrive (More baggages).

well this is my way:
Drive to ERL station in Putrajaya and park there(RM5). And then get ERL Transit(around RM5 per person) to KLIA.

If you are near any hotel , use the hotel service for RM$5 more than the bus which ends at Duta station.

When you're going out in a group of 3-4, taking LIMO is a good option.

The cheapest is Komuter to Nilai station (RM 4.xx) then take bus to KLIA (RM2.xx).

The most efficient of course ERL..express.. smile.gif but costly
