So I went to McDonald's Centerpoint in Bandar Utama last night.

And guess what I found? The long-lost Samurai Burger!

I've been waiting over 10 years for this day. A few months back I even asked McDonald's to bring it back on their Facebook page.

I know I'm in the minority, but I always liked it more than the Prosperity.

The weird thing is, there has been zero advertising for it. It's not even mentioned on their website.

But it's there. Trust me. And it still tastes as good as it used to.

Malaysia Samurai burger will suck. Eat Thailand wan. Real Pork inside.

The double patty one with Coke and fries was RM16.50.

I think the single one was RM11 or RM12+.

Just surprised that McDonald's would launch it with no advertising. Right now the only thing they're promoting like crazy is the GCB.

Yeah quite exp. I guess it's because they use the quarter pounder patty. So for RM16.50 you're getting two quarter pounders, i.e. half a pound of beef haha.

Btw.. In selected stores only..market-testing purposes. Similar to GCB when it was 1st introduced.

The price I mentioned was not lunch/dinner price, it's the normal full price.

Quarter pounder normal price is RM12.75 for the medium set.

Which means Samurai is actually cheaper - but then no cheese lah.

I don't know! I only went to McDonald's this one time in the past few months.

Prosperity burger = spicy black pepper sauce. Every year also sell. Boring already.

Samurai burger = sweet teriyaki sauce with mayo. It hasn't been sold in Malaysia for over a decade.

like a few months back, been to Sunway Pyramid McD, dunno how got the Chicken Foldover in their menu after long lost for several years, no ads whatsoever. a few days later I tried to look for the Foldover in other branches but nowhere to be found. a few weeks after that, and voila! all McD have the Foldover in their menu
