maybe this COOLVIVA is for those GC which comes with a passive heatsink....

or i think, better DIY a FAN CARD.

Blow directly to ur GC card.

erm.... DIY ur own FAN CARD.

Use 2 x 80mm Fans , sufficient Cable ties and an empty pci slot and bracket.

the styrin KuFormula VF1 Plus is cool... but not in the budget now, have something more important to get.... biggrin.gif

try getting vga silencer rev3, by arctic cooling. try asking around for 2nd hand, or get from bulk. takes away 1 pcie slot, but exhausting the hot air outside is a big plus. also the heatsink is large. em.. wait.. im not sure whether it fits.. lol~

but anything from arctic cooling is nice if u ask me. extra few rm10 is not much compare to the satisfaction u'll get. if u r getting the coolviva, or vantec iceberg, then later though it wasnt enough.. then u'll be spending more searching for something else, then ur budget suddenly doubled, and already enuff to get the styrin ku formula in the first place..

anyway, it's ur call..

been using it for quite sometime.....

the artic cooling is really nice, i do agree.....

pricing is not that bad,

try getting the artic silencer rev 3....

i saw in the bulk selling for rm 20 -30 more than a cool viva.

GOOD LUCK,,,

i'm thinking of getting that too.....

woah... got ur silencer, it sure worked well....

anyways,

i uninstalled my old driver and software for the graphic card..
Now i am using the new driver the shop gave, its called Omega for Radeon,
anyways i managed to finish the scene in AGE OF EMPIRE 3 that i always get stuck at... DARN...

but it still hangs.... any other solution ??

i already have an exhaust fan right under the card... sucking air from the card to the rear of the pc....

or shud i put a FAN CARD that pushes air towards the card ??

hmm.. since you said it was your driver.. why don't you go back to your card manufacturer and download the drivers? or not go to ATi and download the universal drivers for your card.. wink.gif

thanks -vip3rleon9-,

maybe i wud download the universal driver...

the driver i originally used was the one that came with the card, from xpertvision, and i tried searching around in xpertvision and found the same driver, so i guess what the heck, its the same,
and maybe its not, so i'm gonna go and give it a try today....
