if opening a port specialized for bit comet, do i have to use the 6881 number to port forward ? how about the listening port in bit comet? what does it do? just leave those number as it is or type in 6881?

how can i determine the speed had increase after that?
*

when u want to do port forwarding, use ur bitcomet listening port.. not 6881 .. thats only for official bittorent.. if ur bitcomet listening port is 12345.. then u should put 12345.. ok.. gud luck thumbup.gif

In the bitcomet, go to options->preference, there u should see the
Listen port box, that's the port that ur bitcomet uses, in the modem put that number in port start, port end and port mask. Put in the rule name "e.g BitComet", apply then dont forget to save settings...

Using this : http://direct.tm.net.my/xpeedometer/xpeedo...r=1069073017467

For 1mbit package, shouldn't be less than 700.
Take screenshot of 3 readings note time & date, email to their support.
Hope they solve the problem.

Here, dude, i face d same problem.

Apply 1Mb, but never get tis services. Did call them 3 times, do some useless trouble shooting, but not works at all. They stated i shud get more than 600Kbits for dl speed and more than 200Kbits upload speed. For upload speed is ok, but i just get about 420Kbits all the time. I tested it thru tmnet broadband speed test there.

Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.1.1

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is blank, and the password is admin. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

Click the Status button at the top of your screen. This should open a new menu on the left hand side of your screen.

click the modem status if i'm not mistake..

but this is for aztech dsl 600EU ..
orait???

but the line is still show that u take the pakcage rm66/77?

it's means that telekom stiil not upgrade your account...
that why u get slow connection..

so make a report again and again to the telekom headcenter,

Just make sure to call them to update if no changes within 24-48hours...
It seems like that they consider the problem fixed if no reply from us. Happen to me to, registered 1mB only got 512k, made a report...keep bugging them about it...good luck

im facing this problem with my adsl 600eu router/modem.
the web browsing always stop when you make a refresh or moving to a next page . Sometimes the download just hang in the middle of the downloads. The page did load for a while , can see the blue bar at the bottom moving but it stops half way after that.

What are the causes of this problem? Was it the bandwidth because of .torrents files downloading behind my bit comet port?

Or was it the Service Provider problem? Any configuration setting to solve this problem?

I dun think its any relate with bandwidth problem, it has high probablity in ur computer problem. Virus effect, old version software using, inadequate RAM speed, improper configuration or setting, even hardware disaster in ur hard drives.
