If I'm not wrong this router doesn't have QoS features. If it doesn't have QoS features there is nothing much you can do about your house mate that keeps on downloading except to discuss with him on slowing down his downloads.

The software has changed its name to "Netsense" in new version.
You can get a trail version from http://www.grabsun.com
It is only in Chinese, sorry
It is using some kind of techniques called "ARP spoofing" to limit others' bandwidth

BT is abit hard to control although the software claim that can be filtered. Try to find something which can control based on IP address and assigned a fair bandwidth to it. Just my 2 cents.

Install Linux on an old PC.

Put in Ipp2P and then use iproute2 to throttle it and everything you DON"t want to be fast.

works like a charm.

Linux is GREAT!

Wow.. It seems like most ppl here complaining about the misuses of their friends and asking for tutorials to really divide bandwidth equally..

I guess somebody should try to make a tutorial or explain the steps on doing it with most details..

I'm sharing a connection with my sister using ICS(Internet connection sharing). The problem is whenever I'm playing some online game like Dota and she loads up her sites like some sale thread or blog with 50-100 pics I'll get huge delays in my game.

I've considered other things like getting a router or switch, what's the best solution? I've heard that routers with QoS are capable of limiting her bandwidth/prioritizing mine but they're pretty expensive :E
