hi guise, I just spend 3 days memorizing all hiragana and katakana characters, finally I can read basic Japanese rclxm9.gif ( exclude kanji sad.gif )

but I can only read yet don't understand any, what should I do next? learn all the vocabs? I can read chinese so its not that bad understanding kanji

guys.... i lurk in some japanese online shop site..... so theres 2 different site, both using different symbol, u know after the price.
why is that? check outb these 2 site.

notice the symbol used at rakuten, is not like the usual yen used in bacchusdo... can explain for me why?

You mean 円 and ¥ ?
It is just one is the wording, one is a symbol.
Just like Dollars and $.
Or Pound and £.
They mean the same.

is this hiragana correct or not?

わたし は しゃしん か です

watashi ha shashinka desu..

but i need the boku (ぼく) instead of watashi (so not like formal sentences (plus i think no need "desu" word there).. can help notworthy.gif notworthy.gif biggrin.gif

Not sure if you know about this but I found a website where you can post up essays/articles/phrases that you write in the language that you are currently learning (e.g. Japanese) and there are native japanese who will read and correct your entry.

On the other hand those native japanese are also studying english/mandarin or other languages, if you have the capabilities you can also read their articles and correct their language/grammar for them. It is a pretty interactive site whereby people are friendly and they teach you to write smoother and more fluent languages in their own tongue.
