Here's my report of my ADSL
Line State Connected
Modulation ADSL_G.dmt
Annex Mode Annex A
Max Tx Power -38 dBm/Hz

Item Downstream Upstream Unit
SNR Margin 16 20 dB
Line Attenuation 37 20 dB
Data Rate 1536 512 kbps

Suppose my Streamyx is RM66 package,my download speed can reach 50kbps MAX.
currently im running on ADSL2+ (Multi-mode) modulation.(Selected from ADSL modulation page)
The modem im using is D-link Wireless DSDL2+ Router.(im connected to the router through cable not through wireless).

I've called TMnet customer service a couple of times but still everyday im facing uncountable times of disconnections.im wondering why. They ask me to connect the phone line direct to the modem. Yes, i did and without using any splitter.
However the problem still exists.
Since yesterday, my connection is worst than previous days. Suddenly i lost signal from the internet. I ping to tmnet. it was request time out. I login to my modem and check. The connection is still available. Ip address and everything is still there. i disconnect and connect again through modem but still i get no signal from internet.

I need some guides from you guys. What should i do on my internet connection.
Thanks in advance.

adrew. what package u subscribe?
your status too bad. DS margin very low.. and so do the line attenuation, very high.. means that both status are really BAD. ask tmnet/telekom to do something with your cable.

your SNR margin is ok-ok. but line attenuation is too high la. you may experience frequent disconnection.
