It seems down.  The USA proxy also seems to be down.

219.93.178.162:3128 seems to be up but a bit slow.  Hope you have better luck.
*

Slow? It's still 10x faster than the fudged up Streamyx line up here.

Yeah. I just tested it and it seems to be okay but fortunately my Streamyx line is okay so I don't need to use proxy. That's the thing about proxies, sekejap ada, sekejap tak ada. biggrin.gif

Looks like 219.93.178.162:3128 is down now. It's back to the old not-so-broadband for me. I really hope it comes back up or Streamyx is useless for internet. (And I'm not even talking about downloading or Youtube, LOL.)

Anybody got another working Streamyx proxy I can use?

^^

Proxy is safe for general browsing. But don't use it when you are receiving/sending confidential info (such as online banking).

if my pc downloading via web using 512 kb/s at full speed and uses a proxy , doest it mean it is running the same speed in proxy server ? if i assume 10 users downloading the same thing and same speed , proxy must have a connection speed = 512 kb/s x 10 ?

Not all proxies are active all the time. Just try one by one until you find something which works for you and even then, there is not guarantee that it will work 24/7.
