Wifi sometimes will have disconnection problem. If that happen reboot your tablet. But it happens quite seldom. So it is not big issue.

Reference Slatedroid Forum

Use LiveSuit for flashing to firmware. Steps are almost same as Aurora. Just hold "back" button and connect USB then press "power" button 5-7 times until option to flash firmware message appear on your PC.

I tested this on my aurora 4.0.3 with flash 11.1 and it is running with some jerky video but it is still better than when I run it on my P4 3.2GHz machine!! LOL....Cause probably my desktop have sucky S3 GPU.

I bought Elf for my kid and what I can say is the perfomance is way better than the original Samsung Tab. It comes with ICS 4.0.1, a bit laggy while switching homescreen but everything else runs fine. No official market though but easily installed with a script taken from the net. The script also fix the laggy home screen.

So when ICS 4.0.3 is out, I straightway update. Wrong move since 4.0.3 is not as stable as 4.0.1 and has some bugs. Since there's no original 4.0.1 firmware to be found. I decided to downgrade to 2.3.4 and the performance is the best amongst the original firmware so far. Am yet to find any problem. Though you need to install other keyboard since 2.3.4 default keyboard is to small.

Screen quality, cant say anything about Aurora IPS but for Elf its acceptable for what you are paying. It is better that Streak 7 and Viewsonic 10s.

Based on report, new firmware is coming to fix the bug in 4.0.3. I will try ICS out again when the time came but for now, Gingerbread is stable as hell. Did I mention this cheapo tablet came with 1gb RAM?

CPU and GPU is same as my Novo 7A. Just that the RAM is 1GB DDR3 compared to 512MB is Novo 7A.

To be frank.. I read alot of reviews before I bought my Novo7A...all I could say is, its worth the money you pay. The only thinking lacking is a better LCD screen for my N7A. My conclusion, If you are thinking of using this as a internet browser / e-reader / video player / casual game it a good device but if you are thinking of doing some heaving gaming then I guess you will have to look for a better CPU + GPU tablet.

Beware the paladin is MIPS processor based, so not all apps on market are compatible.
A10 is a cortex ARM A8 based, so it's better in terms of app compatibility.

Paladin is cheap and meant for people who want to do some browsing, watch movies, check email and other simple gaming.

Battery life is suprisingly better than I expected. I played for 2 days still have 10% left. Probably around 6 hours of solid use. It is stable too.

China has many manufacturers doing tablet now because most of the R&D work already done by the chip manufacturers. All they need to do is change a little here and there. In fact, US & UK people are using it and it's fine for normal gaming, browsing and even watch HD on your TV.
