Do you guys think the new voice-controlled Siri personal assistant on the iPhone4s is almost the same as the one featured on our SGS2 whereby we just say "Hi, Galaxy"?

I think it is similar but i also think all these voice control are gimmicks to attract people. Most of it are useless as they are not accurate. In the end use your finger alot faster and less frustrating. tongue.gif

From the video demo shown, I honestly think Siri is way more intelligent. Not sure how practical it is using it here in Malaysia.

For calls and texts, it's a bit gibberish since I got quite a number of friends with Chinese name. If it's English names, it turned out better. For Google search, I just click the "microphone" icon on the right and just say whatever you wanted to search via Google and I'd say it's 95% accurate and it directs the one that I've wanted/spoken.

Tried it a few times out of curiousity and it works! By the way, still bogged down by the Kies thing. Android SDK and AVD Manager on it's way...

Malaysian market is a bit "tricky" for the "voice control system". Eh, the iPhone 4s keynote was delivered, right? Same old screen size, the outlook design, maybe the next big thing is on the iPhone5, perhaps?

someone asked earlier about why facebook app for android keep scrolling to homepage, try to change the 'News Feed' type to 'All Stories'.

also another case on phone not being detected by computer, try to install Kies, select under preferences to install the drivers with phone plugged in. if it doesn't work, go to your computer's Device Manager and look under Universal Serial Bus controllers. make sure Samsung Mobile Drivers is there. if it isn't uninstall USB Composite Device and force that to be loaded from phone (by ticking'USB debugging' after plugging in your phone)

2 simple question;

1- Which 1 you choose, buying SGS2 RM1699@Superbuy 1y warranty
or RM1899@Senheng 3y warranty?

2- Can unrooted to stock ROM after rooted? (in case return for warranty)

1: i'd choose the cheaper one at 1y warranty provided that its an i9100 model not i9100G. But honestly it's user preferences, if ur the type that dont change phone always, then 3 yrs is good, but if you're the type that changes phone once a year, then 1 year warranty is okay, phones change fast these days, you may never know.

p/s: my post counts are still the same =((((((

I'd choose 3 years since I rarely change phone. How your usage? either way its still worth it but that's just me.
yes you can but Samsung ppl still have other ways to check if you have rooted or not before (that is if they take the time to check)
