Removing molex is the easiest way rather than solder out all the wires fom PSU.

Do you know about those pipes? The pipes for your tap, shower, the "paip air" pipes? PVC ones, grey colour?

Sleeving kits, can expand as you already know (I hope).

So put the PVC pipe on the molex connector, and slide the sleeving kit inside.

Then remove the pipe and you're done.

But dis applies to big diameter sleeve only ma'. The small one (which fits the wires snuggly) couldnt expand so much. wink.gif

Actually, you CAN sleeve your PSU without removing your Molex connectors. Use spiral-wraps biggrin.gif They don't look too bad if you ask me smile.gif
Or you can use any form of firm tape, something that doesn't loose it's shape after application biggrin.gif

Just my 2-cents worth thumbup.gif

he inside of a computer case is usually a mess of cables and wires.  Power cables get tangled up and loose wires can be damaged from fans or other jagged edges inside the case.  The Vantec Cable Sleeving Kit is the ideal way to eliminate these problems.  The braided sleeve is expandable up to 150%, making it easy to slip over any plugs or connectors.  Made of flexible material, the Vantec Cable Sleeving Kit will not break or crack.  Sleeving your cables not only makes the inside of your computer look cleaner, it will also improve airflow, reducing the heat inside the case.  The Vantec Cable Sleeving Kit is also ideal for bundling cables and wires outside your case as well.

so is it still impossible to do sleeving without taking off molex?

Good results take some effort. If you are going through the trouble to buy sleeves, remove your PSU from your rig in order to improve the aesthetics of your rig..... Why in the world are you reluctant to do something as simple as remove a molex plug?

There are far more challenging things to do. Try removing PCIe connectors for example. For the gold, go for removing the connectors on the main ATX power plug...

Obviously you've got to know what you're doing. As one of the posters above has demonstrated, you can fry hardware by mixing up the polarity of the wires. With a little bit of common sense however, it is a simple thing to get right. That much said, even the smartest people do dumbass things... double checking your wires prior to firing up the PSU is essential...

UglyVamp has put up a sleeving guide. I suggest you read it.

If using those spiral wraps of course no need to remove any connectors also. But doesnt like as nice~ compared to the sleeve.

sohaix : If using the smallest size, which is fits snugglier. The expanded size still not enuff for the molex connector to be slided through.

And yups, warranty doesnt void for just replacing the molex. As long u dont open the PSU. wink.gif
