Microsoft Office 2004 is designed for Mac OS X....not windows....so yeah, u can install it into your Mac.

you can install Windows XP using BootCamp, then install microsoft office xp on your windows XP.....if this is what u mean, then yes u can....

EDIT: there are a lot of other options....u dont have to use microsoft office....check the first few pages...u'll get other alternatives.....

You are aware that these are commercial programmes that require payment for use? If so, warez discussions are best kept off this board.

u can't download.. (it's illegal anyway.... pity those ppl who worked so hard to develop em)

but if u head over to Lowyat (software exchange), they can sell u adobe photoshop CS2 and aperture.

If u using the intel-based macbook, u can dl the beta version of bootcamp. Check apple website for that. Then u can install MS Windows Xp and Office. Or buy Pararell (not sure the right spelling) Its open MS Windows and MAcOsX seamlessly LOLZ

Wondering, does opensource office suit like
NeoOffice or OpenOffice is compatible with MS Office on windows?
Since most of my fren and college is using MS Office.... so i have to make sure the files are compatible..

And ... wat is X11 ? Neooffice doesnt need X11 while OpenOffice needs it.
btw, anyone used any of the both program before? Wanna know which is better

** MS OFFICE 2004 Trial gonna end in 20+ days.. need an alternative.. lol

it is compatible.
when you save your job, save as .doc for Ms word and Ms Execel. For Ms Power Point, save as .ppt ma can adi loo is not mistaken. biggrin.gif

Personally I prefer Neooffice compared to Openoffice. Furthermore, I dont know why, after installing, Openoffice, the only application I can see is Writer (aka Words in MS), I dont know where the rest of Open office application gone.

i have stuffit installed.....but it only extracts.........not zip
